On June 8-9, 2024, our Taevas team had the privilege of attending the Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation Workshop, hosted by the Andhra Pradesh Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists Association (APASLPA) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This event was a significant opportunity to collaborate with leading industry professionals and delve into the latest advancements in vestibular assessment and patient care.
The workshop featured sessions led by distinguished experts, including Dr. Srinivas Dorasala (MS, ENT), Dr. Sujeet Kumar Sinha (Ph.D.), Dr. Yugandhar Ramakrishna (Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A), and Dr. Swarup Bikash Mishra (M.ASLP).
These sessions provided in-depth knowledge on a range of critical topics, such as vestibular anatomy, causes of vestibular disorders, clinical evaluations, and advanced diagnostic techniques including positional tests, electrocochleography, and videonystagmography. We had the opportunity to engage in hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge vestibular assessment tools. Key demonstrations included the Functional Head Impulse Test (FHIT), Craniocorpography (CCG), and Computerized Posturography.
These practical sessions were invaluable in enhancing participants' understanding of these advanced diagnostic methods, which are crucial for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning. We were thrilled to showcase our innovative product lineup, including AUDECOM, EquiPOISE, EquiCOG, EquiFHIT, and EquiCCG.
